Today we went to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park for a great tour of the world's most accessible active volcano! By chance, there were traditional Hawaiian dancers performing near the visitor center, so we all learned about hula dancing. After that, we played some traditional Hawaiian games on the grass. Later, we drove down to the active lava flow, followed by a walk through Thurston Lava Tube. We ended the day with a stop at the Hilo Zoo! What a busy day!
