Innovations' staff, Local School Board and Foundation Board all gathered at the Hale Kai Estate in Keauhou to dream the dream and think about the power of possibility.

Led by facilitator, Karen Ata from the non-profit, Collaborative Action for Public Education (CAPE), the Innovations ohana was led through a series of exercises using the Appreciative Inquiry approach.

Outcomes for the day included identifiying attributes of school success and integration of the teaching team, staff and board members.

Participants enjoyed getting to know each other and sharing their visions and dreams for the school. It was a great way to start the school year and everyone looks forward to doing it again next year!
