Remembering 9/11 

Innovations Public Charter School held it's second annual 9/11 Remembrance at the school on Thursday from 12:00 to 12:30. The Remembrance offers students an opportunity to pay tribute to the victims of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York city. Students dressed in patriotic clothing and shared memories and feelings about the men, women and children whose lives were affected by this tragedy. Under the direction of music teacher, Donna Hansen, students in grades 2-6 sang patriot songs and shared poetry and essays that commemorated this event. Parents and community joined the students at the school stage area.
