HALLOWEEN EXPLORERS

Students at Innovations were challenged to use the school-wide theme of explorations to design a costume that represents some type of exploration. Here's what our creative students came up with.

Exploring the world of cheerleaders:

Hair: exploring hair color and hair styles.

Hair: Young people in Britain started wearing mohawks in the 70's as a sign of protest.

Exploration of Time Periods: upper right - the 60s - hippies and peace movement . . . .
below - the 70's, 50's, and a hippie Halloween explorer . . ..

Exploring the world of singers and music performers . . . . .

Exploring bats and bones . . . .

Exploring the world of bodyboarders, tsunamis and stars . . . .

Exploring the world of chemistry . . . oops . . . something didn't go quite right . . .

Exploring the world of cowgirls and female "range riders" . . . . .

Exploring the world of alternate flight, forests, and African safaris . . . .

Sailing the seas in search of spice . . . . and digging for gold . . . .

Pippi explores "everything!" and a Renaissance explorer . . . . .

Exploring the world of spiders and webs . . . . .

Exploring the world of tourism and tigers . . . . .

And what would Halloween be without the exploration of vampires: finding out about blood types and creatures of the night . . . . .

This student explored House Inspectors . .. .hmmmmmmmm . . . . .

A gang of explorers . . . . . .

Congratulations to all the creative thinkers who were able to connect
"explorations" with their Halloween costume!
