Innovations PCS First Day Fun

August 1, 2002

Students at Innovations Public Charter School had a full day of fun getting to know their routines and various teachers. The day was filled with activities that ranged from rainforest painters and communication explorers - to team building challenges. In the afternoon, students participated in relays that helped them get to know each other better and learn to work cooperatively - skills they will use all year. Students took to the field for water, costume, and shoe relays; a water balloon toss, and creative movement. When asked how the first day went, Nicholas Leanio- 5th grader- responded, "It was fun!"
