Change Happens Foundation Surprises Innovations with $100,000 Grant
at New Campus Grand Opening Celebration

The trustees of The Change Happens Foundation, Douglas and Michael Troxel, surprised the Innovations ohana at their new campus grand opening ceremony with the presentation of a $100,000 check to go toward the construction of a classroom building at the new campus site. Barbara Woerner, IPCS Director and Kate Jacobson, IPCS Local School Board Chair, accepted the generous donation with smiles and hugs!

The day was filled with joy as Hawaii State Governor Linda Lingle and other West Hawaii dignitaries celebrated the opening of the new school campus. Len and Sue Welter, who generously gave the school the use of the land for their campus, were in attendance and joined in the celebration along with Innovations' parents, students, staff and community members.

Students later presented the Troxels with a check for $100,000 "thank yous" in appreciation for the Change Happens grant of $100,000.
